Check-in and Licenses: As soon as your plane glides to
the dock, the Waterfall Resort staff welcomes you and takes your
luggage to your private accommodations. As you check in at the General
Store, turn in your airline tickets with departure information.
You will then receive your room key and be assigned your guide boat.
This is the time to purchase your Alaska State Fishing License,
King Salmon Stamp, and your $100,000 King of Kings Salmon Tournament
ticket.
General Store: Open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., you will find
a Resort Information Center and Hospitality Services. The manager
and staff are ready to take care of special requests, in-room amenities
and any messages. They will weigh and photograph your catch and
keep you informed of all Tournament updates. A variety of logo apparel,
souvenirs, toiletries, film, soft drinks, snacks, and liquor are
available and may be charged to your room. Lobby: This comfortable room is located adjacent to the General
Store and includes the Manager's office, float plane information,
a telephone, and reading materials. Stop by and enjoy a cup of fresh
coffee in front of the wood-burning stove.
Lounge: Known as the "Lagoon Saloon," it's open from 5
p.m. and is the gathering place for guests and staff. Enjoy views
of the Tongass National Forest from the casual sitting areas while
playing pool, ping-pong, darts, cards or watching television. Refreshments
from the full bar may be billed to your room.
Alaska Airlines Agent: For your convenience, our on-site
agent will reconfirm your flight home, provide your seat assignment,
and tag your luggage and fish boxes prior to departure.
Daily Maid Service: While you're enjoying the day, your
room will be refreshed as housekeeping stocks fruit baskets and ice
for you daily so that upon your return, all is ready for you to
relax into the evening.
