DECADES OF EXPERIENCE AT YOUR SERVICE
Collectively our crew of U.S. Coast Guard licensed guides share well over 200 years of guiding wild Alaska fishing trips. And they work together, with more eyes on the water to put you on the bite. Upon arrival, you’re assigned a boat and guide for the duration of your stay. We fish four to a boat and all our guides are trained in working with guests of any skill level.
The Largest Private Fleet in Alaska
Each of our 27 custom-designed, 26-foot North River Sounders is built for safety, performance, comfort, and convenience. All feature heated cabins, air-suspension seats, private heads, powerful fuel-injected Mercury outboards, and a full complement of Furuno marine electronics.
Premium Fishing Gear and Equipment
We make sure that you’re equipped with all the bait, tackle, and all-weather gear you may need while fishing with us, including:
- Berkley and G. Loomis rods
- Shimano Tekota-A 500LC reels
- Maxima fishing line, Eagle Claw hooks
- Helly Hansen bib overalls and hooded jackets
- XtraTuf waterproof neoprene boots
Our guests tend to favor “mooching” with a four-ounce banana sinker, dragging a medium-size cut-plug herring, and working the entire water column. With mooching, the aim is to keep your bait spinning. Your guide will advise on variables like sun, wind, depth, and water current.
