After a day on the water, nothing beats swapping fish stories over cold brews and stiff drinks at the Lagoon Saloon. Guests and fishing guides alike enjoy the hospitality of longtime bartender Ron Koch at Waterfall Resort’s happy hour and after-dinner gathering place.
Ron is famous for signature cocktails with a kick. He also mixes tasty nonalcoholic drinks. Regional beers include Alaskan Summer Ale. Coffee, tea, and popcorn are complimentary. And you can bill your tab to your room.
Along with the fully stocked bar, the saloon features big-screen TVs, pool and ping-pong tables, darts, Wi-Fi and landline Internet access, a poker room, cannery memorabilia, comfortable sitting areas, and views of our saltwater lagoon and the Tongass National Forest.

Should you wish, Ron also sees to it that you make it on time to your cabin cruiser each morning. Just ask him for a wake-up knock and he’ll arrange for a night watchman to come knock on your door at the appointed hour, giving you ample time to sit down for hot coffee and a crab omelet or grab a handy breakfast burrito in the Dining Room before your boat heads out to the fishing grounds.
